Rewriting the Year: A Narrative Identity Workshop for Integration and Closure

  • Flower Cat 162 Noble Street Brooklyn, NY, 11222 United States (map)

As the end of 2025 approaches, many of us feel the pull to make sense of where we’ve been: the choices we made, the moments that shaped us, and the ways we’ve quietly (or dramatically) changed. This workshop is an invitation to pause, look back with clarity, and integrate the story this year has written in you.

Drawing from narrative identity theory, autobiographical reasoning, and somatic psychology, this 90-minute gathering explores how the brain constructs meaning from experience, why certain moments become “turning points,” and how our personal narratives shape our sense of self.

Together, we will:
✨ Identify the major themes, emotional arcs, and recurring patterns of your 2025
✨ Explore the turning points that shifted your inner landscape
✨ Trace the meaning beneath experiences that felt significant
✨ Reflect on how the year lives in your body and what it’s asking you to honor
✨ Craft an integrative, compassionate narrative that helps you close this chapter with intention

Through guided reflection, somatic grounding, and structured journaling, you’ll develop a coherent and empowered understanding of your year.

You’ll leave with a written narrative of 2025, a clearer sense of the story you’ve been living, and a more grounded orientation toward the chapter ahead.
