Antiphonies: A Creative Workshop with Savannah James
Sep

8:00 PM20:00

Antiphonies: A Creative Workshop with Savannah James

an evening of inspiring each other and cultivating dialogue across various mediums—

all attendees are asked to bring in a small work (can be anything; drawing, poem, short piece of writing, painting— can also be a reproduction of any of these things) which will serve as a prompt for another attendee to create from.

Antiphonies are traditionally a call and response type of singing, usually performed in hymns or work songs. The conversation of inspiration that occurs between artist, artwork, and viewer, is like a song of call and response. When an artist puts their work out into the world, it not only is a vehicle of expression, but an opportunity for someone else to become inspired, and ultimately create from.

Fantasy Lab with Miss Bloom Sex Educator

An elegant evening of cocktails, conversation, and sex education exploring fantasy, desire, and communication.

Fantasies can be surprisingly difficult to articulate.

Most of us were never taught how to understand what turns us on. There is no "fantasy class" the way there's an English class. We're expected to intuit our desires, give them shape, and communicate them clearly—without ever being given the language or framework to do so.

So if you've ever thought, "I don't even know what I'm into," you're in good company.

And if you've thought, "I know what I want—and I want to explore it, refine it, and share it," this space is also for you.

Join us for an intimate evening with a small group of curious adults, where your ticket includes one complimentary handcrafted cocktail and engaging conversations in a relaxed, elegant setting.

Navigating Eclipse Season Workshop with E Wray

Eclipse season comes again in August, when we’ll experience the last of a series of eclipses in Pisces, and the first of a series of eclipses in Leo.

Eclipses are powerful solar and lunar events which have historically served as omens in many astrological traditions. Eclipses can correspond with periods of instability and change in the world, and can reflect major endings and beginnings in various sectors of our personal lives. In this workshop, we will practice ways to understand, respect, and respond to the shifts and upheavals that eclipses can represent.

This 2 hour workshop will include some lecture, some discussion, Q&A, and some exercises to practice with your own chart. I'll also provide some journaling prompts for reflection.

Space is limited - register in advance.
