Abstracted from generative drawings of an oyster, the ground is estranged and lifted to create shade from the intense Miami heat, forming a scallop-like typology for the concert hall. Choice in materiality helps create a dichotomy between exterior shell (anodized steel) and the interior auditorium (bamboo veneer) - the pearl.
